Welcome back!!!

Ms. Straub and I are very excited to open the world of Calculus to you over the course of the year.

Get used to navigating this blog as it will help you daily in class.

Well we have done the intro and go over the syllabus stuff.  Tomorrow we will take a few questions on the summer assignment but then it is time to start.

Have your calculator and note taking devices with you and LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!

In addition you will receive your first take home test tomorrow that will be due next Friday 9-13-19 for 100 product points.

Remember you must show all work for all problems but can use your notes to assist you.  We probably will have our first hwk assignment due somewhere around the 11th or 12th so get ahead and make significant progress on the take home test this weekend.

If you are struggling make sure you see us next week during patriot time.

AP Review of Summer Assignment Day

We will be in on Wednesday 8/21/19 from 9-12 if there are any questions on your summer work.

Hope you have  had a great summer, we are looking forward to working with you this year.

See you in a couple of weeks.

Benchmark review and AP test preperation

Ok we are almost there:

You should be working on your AP prediction packet nightly now to practice the topics you do not think you are very good at and get them o the acceptable level.  If you have any questions we are open during patriot times until the exam and Mr. Halstead will be at school on Saturday May 4 from 8-12 A.M.

You also have your giant formula sheet to be studying in preparation of the exam.  Make sure you know all your formulas and processes, the AP will not be providing you any information.

In addition we are handing out the benchmark 4 review guide on 5/2/19 and it will be due 5/10/19 for 50 hwk points.  You will turn it in that day and we will give you the answer key.  I suggest that you photo it so if you want to look at anything over the weekend you can.

Finally the fourth and final benchmark will be that week of 5/13 through 5/17.  When I get more info from the powers that be on the specific test date I will pass it along.

Prepare hard, we are proud of you and be ready!

Mr. Halstead and Ms. Straub
