It would be easy to get overwhelmed in this next 2 week period if you are not being proactive and working through things well ahead of time.  So I know it is a long weekend and you want to relax and enjoy it, but if you don't work for a couple of hours on your take home test/benchmark reveiw guide and get chunks of them done, next week will be a tremendous amount of work to get through.

SO DON 'T TAKE THE WEEKEND OFF

Welcome back!!

We are excited that school is starting this week, and the joys of Calculus are about to be unveiled.  Hope you have had a great summer and are ready to work hard and have some fun.

If for some reason your summer assignment is not done, we need it as soon as possible as it is costing you points every day.

We will be getting into things on day two,  so bring your summer assignment and answer key with you tomorrow.  You will be doing group work while we are getting books and calculators out to you.

Have your three ring binders by Thursday and start working on your first take home test over the weekend.

It was a good first day and let the hard work begin.

See you tomorrow,
Mr. Halstead and Ms. Straub
