Hi all, please stay safe over the next two weeks, but we have not heard anything about an AP test move date. So we are going to post some material for you to preview and be looking through. We are going to have to cover this material very quickly when we return, probably a 1-day summary of each at the most.
We are going to post some suggested videos and accompanying notes that we highly suggest that you work through in your time at home. These are not assignments that are worth a grade, but they will make your life easier when you return.
In addition remember you have some long term due dates that are still in effect.
1) Hwk on inverses and magnum PI (Halstead was due on Monday, so due when we return), Hwk on inverse trig workbox integrals (Straub due when you return, Halstead we haven't done notes yet so we will worry about when we come back)
2) AP Practice exam #2 (was due Monday, so due when we return)
3) Benchmark Review guide (was due on the 20th, due day after your return.) We have not heard anything about the benchmark date of the 24th, but will update the blog when we do.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hXpeuOMCMMWsymOa1fL1xUdQ4BmzqPvJ/view?usp=sharing (this is the benchmark review in case you don't have it)
4) Differential equations packet and notes (No due date previously, but will be due April 3rd)
5) AP prediction packet (Not an assignment but a good time to spend with the problems especially the starred ones)
6) Check in to AP classroom, as there will be extra practice stuff there that will be extra credit
We will be using the site below is a great one to use to continue your learning:
http://calculus.flippedmath.com/
Week One: Slope Fields and Differential Equations
A) http://calculus.flippedmath.com/104-separation-of-variables.html (separable differential equations or the packet you already have)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16VwzuRFZh_QZxE-T6UsbtK75A3T6nQgL/view?usp=sharing (this is our diff eq packet if you don't have it)
B) http://calculus.flippedmath.com/101-slope-fields.html (slope fields and how to make them)
Week Two: Area between two curves
http://calculus.flippedmath.com/111-area-between-curves.html (area between two curves)
For all of these links there is a packet you can print out and an accompanied video to watch to fill out the packet with. (its like you are watching me put notes up at board and filling them in), There are then practice solutions and extra practice assignments you can click on if you want to get deeper with them.
Remember that the videos and other stuff at flipped math is not due for any credit, but highly suggested that you work your way through it for our return. This should be plenty to work on when you look at it in total. It is essentially like you are in college and now are responsible for some of your own learning. We will miss you and hope above all that you are safe and well, and look forward to when we can experience the joys of Calculus together again.
There is a remind that we will try to send you updates through over the next two weeks as well.
